Bari Olive Oil Company

Written by , Posted in Thoughts

Bari6I have many favorite foods. I can’t get enough gruyère cheese, I love crunchy bacon (but it has to be good bacon – I am picky!), and I will always eat kale in most any form. However, today I’m thinking of Olive Oil, Bari’s Organic Olive Oil.

I used to be a supermarket olive oil connoisseur. I had no idea what was missing from my life. I bought whatever was cheapest, thinking that at least I was buying olive oil. I figured it would still be superior. I was wrong.

Bari’s organic olive oil is the best olive oil I’ve ever had.

They ship all over the USA, but are from a little town in Central California. We’ve visited in person a few times. It’s always a treat. Kyle will sometimes fill the bottle for us while we watch. This stuff is so fresh that it was olives that morning. Olives. It is amazing.

Sometimes I get awkward when I’m having my photo taken. It takes a while to get a non-silly face shot. Just thinking about it makes my face want to contort into a weird half grin half grimace.

Here are some of my favorite ways to use Bari’s Olive Oil:

On popcorn – I pop on the stove, drizzle a bit of olive oil and sprinkle with some sea salt… mmm favorite snack.

Mix olive oil with favorite spices or herbs (I like rosemary) and a bit of balsamic vinegar. Dip a loaf of crusty bread in the oil. Oh yum.

Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette, Caesar Salad, or any dressing really…

Let’s be honest, I use this olive oil almost every day, in most of my cooking. If it says “olive oil” in a recipe on this blog, chances are good that it’s Bari’s that I’ve used. I think it has the best taste. Not even comparing it just to other olive oils, but in general, it tastes great – it’s a good food to eat.

And now I’m really hungry and can’t wait for dinner… because most likely, it will feature olive oil.
